DEL R730XD RAID5 1 of the 9 harddisk faulty and replaced but it shows ready instead online
we are observing one of RAID5 hard disk gone faulty and due to this Virtual Disk(raid 5) is showing offline.
now replaced the faulty with the same model and same capacity but its not becoming online.
Kindly help us to fix this issue

Mark the drive as a global Hotspare and see if something change.

that i have tried but no luck. still it shows ready
also raid5 is showing offline

If your RAID5 showing as offline than youre faced a double disk failure which means more than one disk goes bad. Replacing now a drive will not bring the array back. Your data is most likely lost and needs to be restored from the backup.

Whats the status of the VirtualDisk(VD)? You can try to download the logs from the perc.

And now again please with the columns of this table. Are use realy named your VD RAID5 and create a RAID-0??!???

9x 5588.5 = 50296.5 GB. You have created a RAID-0 VD without any kind of redundancy which means a single drive failuer brings down the complete diskgroup and you have lost all of your Data. But it was fast all the past right?

My server vendor came and installed this.
In this case how can i change and bring up to keep the data securly.

I have to say sorry but who ever setup your server makes an mistakes and create a RAID-0. Please check the colum "Layout"!.
