Compatible Sas Drives For PowerEdge R610
Hello everybody! Just wanted to ask: What is the maximum capacity of Storage (Drive per Slot) and what is compatible drives i can fit that will work without any issues on PowerEdge R610? And what is the maximum storage i can have with 6 drives installed? I heard that maximum drive capacity is 4tb per Drive, but what about about speed? Please advice guys what is the correct information are.

Hello,
it depends by the PERC controller. For example for a PERC 6/i the maximum size of an hard drive is 2TB.

So for 6 hard drives installed you can have a 12 TB RAID0 volume.
