Bypass PERC H755 Raid Controller PowerEdge XR12
Hello,
I'm looking for information on a cable that I can install that will bypass the PERC H755 raid controller for the 6xNVMe drives on my PowerEdge XR12. The RAID controller is bandwidth limited by the PCIe link, and I believe the direct attach will provide better performance.

Every Rid controller has limitations. This si the main reason why shod be used Direct PCIE lines connections but seem Dell struggles for second generations to provide adequate support on HW side mostly for G14 and Gen 15.
This is one of the reason the I get second server width AMD CPU to ensure that at lease if you selected Direct connection to NVME you don't have slowness but still you are limited by Dell Backplane what are in most un both Generation only PCIE 3 gen x4 instead PCIE gen4 x4.
