6TB SAS HDD reporting incorrect size on T620 with PERC H710P
Hello,
I have several IBM branded SAS drives that are reporting a size of 600GB in iDRAC.
The drives are:
HGST 6TB 7.2K 12Gb SAS
model: HUS726060AL4210
Is there any way to get the controller to report the correct size for these drives? Someone mentioned I may need to flash the firmware on them but I am unsure where to get firmware or if they even exist.
Any help or guidance would really help.
Thanks!

Hello,
The H730P will not work on the T620.
I do see these 6TB drives available.
The part numbers are Service Part Numbers. They do not typically come up on the Dell web site. You need to contact Sales and ask for the Spare Part Department to get a quote to purchase one of these:

Because of a "modern" 4K Harddrive doesnt work on an stoneaged RAID controller.
Buy an older style disk with 512bytes per sector.

Thanks for this!
Will a PERC H730P work on the T620? If so, maybe I can replace the existing controller with a H730P.
