vSAN ESA ReadyNode for R750

Hi,

Looking for a way to convert an R750 into a vSAN ESA ReadyNode, and I've found the following document from VMware: https://partnerweb.vmware.com/comp_guide2/pdf/vi_vsanesa_guide.pdf  but it does not list the storage controller/HBA requirements.  I'm thinking it has to be an H755N, but can't find any supporting documentation to prove it.  I know historically some platforms have mixed success with true controllers masquerading as HBAs, just curious if anyone has run into this or definitively knows something.

Thanks,

Hello,

I'll note we don't support APOS storage changes (After Point of Sales).

Selecting configuration is done at Point of Sale and field changing of configuration is non-break/fix and we have no kits for this.

I can share this with you. It shows the R750 would use an HBA355. As for other cabling or hardware I don't have any kits.
