upgrading to a second Processor for Dell PowerEdge R540
I recent have been tasked with upgrading the Server here at our office and was wondering if I could use the same heatsink G70XM 0G70XM that is for CPU 1 or is it a completely different part number. such as 01CW2J 1CW2J. please advice.

let me clarify this sorry. I am upgrading the CPU from a Single CPU system to a Dual CPU System and have found no information for what heat sink is needed for CPU 2 or if the system does need an extra fan. I have found multiple different part numbers for the R540 PowerEdge server heatsinks, so my question remains what are the correct part numbers for the number 2 CPU heatsink and bracket

* No, you can not use the same heatsink from first CPU for the second CPU.
* Yes, 01CW2J is the correct part number for second CPU heatsink.

Only heatsink is needed. Fans and baffle should come as default with either 8-bay LFF or 12-bay LFF chassis

Hello, can you give us your system's service tag? https://dell.to/3WR370t
Ideally it's best we see how many fans you have. If this server has a different fan config with 1/2 CPUs, if there had been fans removed after, if heatsink is not right it will overheat.
