Upgraded bios but detected the modern 2Rx4 as Quad Rank

For logging purposes could you provide the BIOS version you are on?

Are you replacing or adding new DIMMs?

If you are adding; what are the existing DIMMs?

Are these Dell DIMM?

Can you post an image of the DIMM labels?

How do you have the DIMMs populated?

For single-processor systems, sockets A1 to A8 are available.

I'll note that 2R DIMMs are only supported in these capacities:   16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB

Can you post an image of the DIMM labels that are not reporting correctly?

Also verify you are up to date on iDRAC firmware?

Could you try each DIMM one at a time in A1 slot and check reporting?

I have back to my office to get that one, as of the testing, i put in A1 to A4 while keep A5-A8 empty, and IDRAC detect it as Quad Rank, but it does able to boot
