Trying to install a Nvidia A100-SXM4-40GB in a R760 server but the Enablement Customer Kit has the wrong power cable in it

Hi all,

I Have a R760 server that I want to upgrade and install a Nvidia A100-SXM4-40GB. I also purchased the Riser GPU Enablement Customer Kit - Nvidia A100, A40, A30 and A10 (P/N: 490-BGVP). this was supposed to go in a R740 server but the server wasn`t powerfull enough to support this configuration. That is why we switched to a R760. Now i have the problem that the Power Cable that connects the MAinboard and the GPU is not compatible and i cannot find the Cable I need. On the Raiser i have a 10 pin connector and on the GPU I have 8 Pin connector. I need a PN for the cable to order one. Can someone help me with this?

So it seems like you purchased a GPU Enablement Customer Kit for R740:

For R760 GPU,

CPH58 ASSY,CBL,PCIE,480W,R1,GPU,R760 Cable, PCIE, ASSY Cable, PCIE, ASSY ASSY Cable, Power, PCIe, GPU, 480W, R1 (GPU PWR Cable (PCIe - Riser 1)      

 

But you gotta search online to make sure if these are correct for what you want before you get them.

 

The Riser 1 and 4 are different.
