T620 fan became noisy after updating BIOS and firmware
Hi ,
I have updated my T620 BIOS from 2.1.3 to 2.5.4. After that the fan became noisy. The current speed of the two fans is 2500. I have updated all other firmware that comes in the SUU as well.
- What need to be done to reduce the fan speed ?
- I have noted that the iDRAC firmware version is 2.41.40, while the iDRAC settings version is showing "1.65.65.04". Not sure if this is OK or not and how to fix it.

Hi Roberto,
I have tried to install "ESM_Firmware_3F4WV_LN_1.66.65_A00.BIN" but it says that this is of an older version of 2.41.40.
So, I have decided to try the roll back option. And it helped.
Now the current version is "1.50.50" and the fan is back to normal.
I am thinking to try to update now to 1.66.65. What do you think ?
