System powerdown after power supply redundancy is lost - not expected and how do I prevent?

I have an R340 and any time I lose power to ONE of the two power supplies the logs show code RDU0012 "Power supply redundancy is lost", which is expected, but then, many seconds later (not abrupt at all), this is followed by code RAC0704 "Requested System Powerdown" and the system shuts down entirely.  I also have an R330 that stays running under the exact same scenario and does NOT show the code RAC0704 message (as is expected).

Via the idrac Power Configuration I have the Redundancy Policy set to "A/B Grid Redundant" and Hot Spare "Enabled".

I can't figure out WHY/WHAT is requesting the system to power down.  What could be causing the RAC0704 system powerdown?  I've looked through the BIOS and iDRAC settings and I can't find anything else that would affect this other than the Power Management section of the idrac, yet it sure seems like SOMETHING is making this request (it isn't the OS because I have all the hard disks removed for this testing).

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.

Were there any changes made to the system before this message? It is best that you have your logs read by our Dell Tech support if your system is still in warranty.

Also Outdated firmware (BIOS, iDRAC, etc.) can cause various communication errors that lead to system instability and automatic reboots. Ensure all system firmware is up to date.

You can also run hardware diagnostics (ePSA) from the system boot menu to test components outside of the operating system environment and identify potential hardware failures.
