Reenabling memory error logging in iDrac 6
Hi, I'm using an old Dell PoweEdge R515 with iDrac 6.
A DIMM had issues, so the IPMI started logging "Persistent correctable memory error rate has increased for a memory device at location DIMM_B3" errors, arriving to "Persistent correctable memory error logging disabled for a memory device at location DIMM_B3"
I have replaced the DIMM with a new one, now do I need to do something to enable again error logging, to check if there are issues with the new one?

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell.
I think error logging is automatically on- it's not something users can turn on and off.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Respectfully,

Hello,
just clear logs on the idrac. Also check if BIOS and iDRAC firmware are up to date.
Thanks
