PowerEdge T340 - Correctable memory errors detected for DIMM_A4
Hi All,
There is a PowerEdge T340 that generates "Correctable memory errors detected for DIMM_A4."
BIOS and iDRAC firmware versions were updated last night but the error is still generated.
I have already contacted Dell support and received the recommended steps:
1. perform drain - not done yet
2. update BIOS and iDRAC - done
3. perform DIMM swap from A4 to A1
The server is question is running Windows Server 2019 with Hyper-V role.
My question is if the memory errors detection warning may somehow affect OS and apps inside virtual machines running on the physical host.
Thanks.

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell.
This is working as designed.
The latest BIOS has memory self-healing,
but if the same DIMM keeps getting errors I would say it is better that we replace it.
