PowerEdge R750xs - Lights but No Power On
I have a PowerEdge R750xs that is not powering on.
System is plugged in, and power supply lights are green.
Power On Button is slowly pulsing on and off (fading on and off).
IDRAC light is sometimes amber, and sometimes blue, but isn't flashing between consistently. (Minutes go by before switching).
Pressing the power on button does nothing. Pressing and holding will cause the power button light to turn off entirely. Pressing it while "powered off" in this way will reactivate the pulsing power light.
The iDRAC is accessable remotely. Two errors appear which I believe to be the culprits:
- The system board OCP1 PG voltage is outside of range.
- The system board Pfault fail-safe voltage is outside of range.
I've attempted to do a cold boot (draining flee power and letting it sit without power for several minutes before powering on) - No success
I've attempted to reduce the configuration to minimum (currently there is only 1 CPU and 1 Memory stick) - No success
A Google search let me to advice to update the firmware, particularly the CPLD (but the BIOS and iDRAC firmware would also be things to try) - I can upload firmware packages to the iDRAC, but they never install because the machine won't power on.
Any other ideas?

If the server fails to post under that configuration then try swapping out the Power Supply, then try again, if that fails then test both power supplies in the other slot, and then try again.
If it still fails to post then the issue will be with at least one of the devices listed above. If you have another R750xs, you can try testing with known good parts from one of them to test each listed device.
Let me know what you see, and if this helps.
