LAN not visible in OS
Hi, I recently purchased a Dell EMC PowerEdge R640, it has a standard LAN port and 4 SPF. Server 2022 is installed, I see that the server receives an ip from the router, I can go to the admin panel by ip, but this LAN port is not visible in the system itself. Is this a driver problem or do I need to enable something in the web panel? Or maybe this port shouldn't be visible at all?

Hello,
Try going to BIOS and make sure it is enabled.
F2 > System Setup Main Menu > System BIOS > Integrated Devices > Integrated Network Card
What it sounds like is the LAN port you mention is the iDRAC dedicated port and the 4 SFP is the network daughter card for production network traffic.
The iDRAC (Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) dedicated port is not directly visible in the host operating system. The dedicated port is designed to be separate from the server's main network interfaces and is used exclusively for remote management tasks. This separation ensures that the iDRAC can function independently of the host OS, providing out-of-band management capabilities.

Hi, intgrated network card is enabled, so, is there any option to enable it in os? Or this IDRAC will be isolated?

The iDRAC is generally isolated from the OS's network interface, but it shouldn't prevent the OS from seeing its own integrated NIC. Since the integrated NIC is enabled in the BIOS and you're able to access the iDRAC via IP, the most likely remaining cause is a driver issue.
