iDRAC Enterprise License
Could you please advise if there is any way to verify whether Enterprise iDRAC licenses were originally purchased for these servers? If so, I would also like to know how we can retrieve or download the licenses associated with those purchases.
We currently have around 30 servers, all running iDRAC8 and iDRAC9. Most of them have valid Enterprise licenses, but two servers are missing their licenses. I am confident they were purchased at the time, but they no longer appear in our records. These servers were originally acquired through a Dell reseller a few years ago.
Any assistance in recovering or confirming the licenses would be appreciated.

To verify whether Enterprise iDRAC licenses were originally purchased for your servers and to retrieve or download the licenses, you can follow these steps:
1. Check Dell's License Records
Dell Digital Locker: Dell typically stores licenses in the Dell Digital Locker (now part of the Dell Support Portal). You can log in to the Dell Support Portal using the account associated with the original purchase. Navigate to the "Licenses" or "Products" section to view and download your licenses.
Service Tag Lookup: Enter the service tag of each server in the Dell Support Portal. Under the "Licenses" tab, you should see the iDRAC Enterprise license if it was purchased.
Contact Reseller: Since the servers were acquired through a Dell reseller, reach out to them with the purchase details (e.g., order numbers, service tags). They may have records of the licenses or can assist in retrieving them from Dell.
Verify License Status on the Servers
iDRAC Web Interface: Log in to the iDRAC web interface for each server. Navigate to the "Licensing" section to check the current license status. If the license is missing but was previously applied, Dell Support may be able to reapply it.
Command Line: For iDRAC9, you can use the racadm command to check the license status:

Recover Missing Licenses
If the licenses were purchased but are missing, Dell can reissue them. You will need:
Proof of purchase (e.g., invoice, order confirmation).
Service tags of the affected servers.
