Idrac 8 lost license
Hello
I was using my server for quite a while but today when I logged in I no logner seen the licese
Service Tag

Hello,
The service tag you posted shows an iDRAC8 Express, integrated Dell Remote Access Controller, Express
Express: this is the default license included with 600+ series rack, tower, and modular servers.
Unless you purchased an iDRAC8 Enterprise license separately, you should already have the Express license by default.
There is not a license file to send as it is default.
What does it say in the top banner of the iDRAC GUI?
Were you using an Evaluation Enterprise license?
You may check your LifeCycle Controller log (LCC) and System Event Log (SEL) in the DRAC for any entries of an evaluation license expiring.

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to me. No I have not bought a license it came with the server and all of a sudden now it says It does not have a license. This is the message that appear for the conslo.:
"This feature requires an iDRAC Enterprise license. For more details on how to obtain a license, visit License Page."
I am not sure what to do . I have reset it as well .
I Have more servers with the same issue from the same generation . I believe one of the upgrades has done this. I have had this working for years.

Hello,
Try this:
Go to: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk
Input service tag
Select: View product specs in the right hand side
It will bring up: System Configuration - Original Configuration page
Search for : DRAC
Do you see this or something else: iDRAC8 Express, integrated Del l Remote Access Controller, Express

Thank you. That verifies it was sold with iDRAC Express.
There is not an Enterprise associated with this service tag.
If there should be then I recommend contacting Dell directly in your region and ask for Customer Care.

Hello, The only other way I can think of is if you were using an Evaluation license.
