File is not valid for iDRAC Firmware update
Hi!
I'm getting the following error when I try to update iDRAC Firmware.
File is not valid for iDRAC Firmware update
Any ideas? Whats the correct download?
I tried this download https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=0wfgm&oscode=mws80&productcode=poweredge-r410
Is this the correct file?
- Server Model: PowerEdge R410
- Lifecycle Controller Firmware: 1.5.0.671
- Firmware Version: 2.92 (Build 05)
- Hardware Version: 0.01
- Method used to update iDRAC FW: Idrac setting -> Update

I have in mind that within the 12Gen Server there was an issue with an Cert which ends... all DUPs cant be validated any more from the LCC because of an invalid cert chain. IIRC there was an intermediate iDRAC version which was named 1.55 and the new Cert was included there.
But it was 10 yeara ago and i cant remeber exactly.
What kind of errror do you got?

Hello, I would say what you can do is to try with the older version and do stage upgrade.

@DELL-Young E I tried in 1.6.5 to upload the exe and on 1.6.0 to upload the bin
and in both I get the same error as before "File is not valid for iDRAC Firmware update"
