Dell R720 server doesn’t turn on.

I have 2 power supply 750W. One is showing green LED light. Other doesn’t indicate green light. It is connected to 16A socket. The server board has green stable LED light. But it does not turn on. Please help.

Does the green indicator moved when you swapped both PSUs?  Does the LED bezel comes up? Can you reach the idrac?

Hello, thanks for choosing Dell. We suggest you run below.

Minimum-to-POST configuration.

Here is a how-to:

The minimum components to allow the R720 to complete POST are as follows:

One Power Supply
Control Panel (for power button functionality)
Working cable connection between the control panel and system board
One Processor (CPU) in socket CPU1 (minimum for troubleshooting)
One Memory Module (DIMM) installed in socket A1
System Board
Backplane

I also see that you have added a graphic card. Maybe you want to plug it out first and see how it is. Let us know how it goes. Clicking on Solution Accepted helps our community grow.

Respectfully,
