Dell Poweredge T440 - Virtualization for Direct-IO (VT-d)
Hi, noobie here.
I'm trying to set up my T440 for future virtualization work, and I would like to use the VT-d option for my virtual machine on Proxmox.
But, I can't find anything besides "Virtualization Technology" in UEFI/BIOS > Processor settings.
So the question is, does turning this one setting also turn ON the VT-d etc. ?
Few more things:
- Firmware updated.
- Ctrl + Alt + S doesn't show more options in BIOS.
Have a great day!
Let me know if I need to send something more.

Noex,
There isn't a setting to change, once you enable Virtualization Technology, then VTd will be enabled by default as long as the processor supports it. I would suggest that you update the T440 BIOS, iDrac, etc beforehand as well.
