Dell PowerEdge R660XS Running SQL 2022, increasing performance?

Need some advice, I have the above server with Windows server 2022 std and sql server 2022 installed. Its hosts a couple of databases, the live database is about 10gb and its slow in growing.  Its for Sage 200, but its not as fast to access as much as I would think it should be. Its got a Intel Xeon Silver 4509Y with 128GB of ram and I have been told that with sql its more about the cpu than the amount of ram or disk space there it. The system is VERY underused for what it was bought for. 

Should I be actually looking at a better processor or is there something I can actively do to make it more efficient?
