Dell Power Edge R720xd not opening bios setup or any other utility
it seems it doesn’t want to do anything with opening Bios or Boot manager raid utility etc, l the iDrac does its job and functions but only it does nothing after the CPLD and firmware versions displays even when I start the raid utility it’s saying will load following initialization but th utility doesn’t pop up als the f2, f10, f11 does nothing it saying that it is entering but it doesn’t even when I wait several hours.
also IDRAC reset, CMOS reset, Nvram clear, Forcing boot through web ui, Forcing boot to bios trough racadm, Disable the lifecycle controller, Updating firmware also back rolling,
Flashing from Sd, Trying to force boot from usb, Trying to force boot manager, Removing hardware to minimal POST, But until today I have never seen the BlOS Setup or the boot manager.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.
You can try min to post,
•One Power Supply
•Control Panel (for power button functionality)
•Working cable connection between control panel and system board
•One Processor (CPU) in socket CPU1 (minimum for troubleshooting)
•One Memory Module (DIMM) installed in socket A1
•System Board
•Backplane
if no go, replacing mobo is one option
or you can even try different CPU/DIMM combo.
R720xd 2 dual CPU
so if one CPU and one A1 DIMM do not work you can try another pair.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello, I believe now is the time to officially raise a ticket to your local support specially if it involves part replacement and license transfer as well. Contact Technical Support | Dell US
Yes the license is stored in the control panel, it should be transferred with the easy restore assuming the board is new/properly refurbished. Here,

Hello please try to retrieve more information about the order number and the original company who bought this server. Otherwise we need to send you a new license

You may want to look into filling out the Change of Ownership form in order to get the server assigned over to you. Once that is completed, and you can verify the ownership information to us, then we should be able to resend the license, if available. You can find the change of ownership form here.

The link here discusses the ownership transfer for when it is purchased through sites like Amazon and Ebay. You should be able to fill it out as specified and submit it, Now it can take 7 to 10 days to reflect the new ownership.

I am not certain that is correct, as I don't have the svc tag for the server to pull it up. I have sent you a private message, you can use that to respond with the svc tag, the company name, and your contact details, then I can verify if that is correct.

Since around the 11th generation of Poweredge servers we haven't been able to change the svc tag on the systems. After that point it would require replacing the motherboard with a new unbound one and upon replacing it assigning the correct svc tag to the server.
