2nd CPU in R750 not recognized
We temporarily removed the 2nd CPU from a server back in October due to licensing constraints. We are repurposing that system now and re-installed the 2nd CPU but it is not being seen in iDRAC or by system. Is there something we are missing in getting the server to recognize that CPU?

@DELL-Joey Cā The issue has been resolved, I removed the 2nd processor and re-inserted it tightening down the 4 corners.

Hi,
Would you mind try swapping processor to check if the processor is faulty or the mainboard processor socket is having an issue.
Have you tried updating the iDRAC and BIOS firmware, prior installing the 2nd processor?
You mentioned that you are doing repurposing the server, can you try using the Lifecycle Repurpose server option, it could be that the CPLD is not registering the 2nd CPU: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000198190/how-to-repurpose-or-retire-system-lifecycle-controller-feature
Have you tried clearing NVRAM of BIOS? When in the BIOS, is Processor 2 listed?
