Power edge T620 server won't turn on

Power edge T620 server won't turn on The power supply lights green and the iDRAC module is lights up and accessible but the funs is not working when plug into the power also from start there is no spinning How to solve this problem???

Hi,

So, let's start with the basics:

  • Since the lights are green, it's likely the PSU is good to go. But just in case, swap it out with a known good one to rule out any PSU issues.
  • Please make sure everything is snug and secure - CPU, memory, and storage included. You don't want anything loose or disconnected in there.
  • If the server won't turn on, it might be a motherboard or CPU problem. 

    Minimum configuration to POST

    The components mentioned below are the minimum configuration to POST: 

    ● One processor (CPU) in socket processor 1 

    ● One memory module (DIMM) in socket A1 

    ● One power supply unit 

    ● System board 

    ● Control panel
