I would try updating the iDRAC, or issuing it a hard reset. If that fails, you can perform a power drain by unplugging the server from power, then holding the power button for 30 seconds. I don't think you'll need to disconnect power, though.

Hi,

You can use this method on any PowerEdge servers. Do remember to arrange some down time.

ok, tomorrow I will try my r430 which fixes the same case.

But, will this not affect the bios and os settings?

Hello @maxsijaya,

No, this not affect BIOS or OS settings. Both operations are described in this articles:

iDRAC Reset: How to reset the internal Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) on a PowerEdge server?

Power drain: How do I Reset and Drain Power of my Dell PowerEdge Server?

Last suggestion from @Dell-DylanJ was to update iDRAC firmware, which also does not affect settings.

Best regards.
