Dell K788N 1000w UPS not turning on
I got an old Dell UPS from work. It won't turn on with or without the battery installed. I have left it for several hours and the battery pack is measuring about 8 volts. I've tested the fuses and they appear to be fine. I don't see any bulging items on the circuit board. Is the UPS just dead?

Nothing is connected. Nothing shows on the display. I have a feeling its toast.

Do you have connect something to the UPS? Whats on the display?

page 25 Press the button on the UPS rear pane
But if you don’t see anything on the LCD, as you say yourself, you might just need a new one I’m afraid.
