After SUU update, IDRAC fails to initialize and LifeCycle Controller is disabled

I have a Dell PowerEdge R720 running Server 2008 R2.  I was doing an SUU update to fix a display issue and included other updates.  The update had a red x next to the Bios and IDRAC.  After a restart, I ran into the IDRAC issue.  Fans are running at full speed.  I tried powering down and installing the bios/idrac through Support Assist. No luck.  I would appreciate any guidance.

I tried the power cycle previously and it did not work.  The problem was solved. I did not see the full solution, but it required using the server’s SD Card drive to update the IDRAC.   Hopefully that will help some of you move in the right direction.

I would try shutting the server down, removing power, and then holding the power button down for thirty seconds. Once this is done, you can bring it back up as normal. This essentially performs a hard restart of the services running the iDRAC and Lifecycle Controller and is something I've seen help with fan or post-update issues on many occasions.
