Oracle Archivelog Backup Size
If we use RMAN to backup a Oracle database, for exampe, Oracle 11g weekly full backup and daily incremental backup, we need to consider the below data amount for the actual space required for backup:
DB size + all archivelog size + daily incremental data size
Are there any suggestions to more acurately estimate archivelog size?

the size of your archive logs depends on the size of your log buffer and when you make a log switch. To know your log size you have to estimate the volume of DMLS which generate redo info on your DB. Once you know that sizing is easy. You may also gather statistics from v$sysstat to check contention or waits.
