Tower Plus 7020 psu upgrade (2024 version)
OptiPlex Tower Plus 7020
Hi
I recently bought 3 x OptiPlex Tower Plus 7020, (new nov 2024, not old 7020s).
They came with the 260w bronze psu.
I am regretting not speccing the upgraded power supply, to run a graphics card with a 6 pin connector.
Can I get the higher power psu as a field fit, or is there a compatible psu that I can install?
What would be the compatible part numbers?
I've looked through a lot of posts on the forum about this but I'm not sure if they relate to NEW 7020's or old ones.

Yes Dell offers 500w oem 80+platinum psu for 7020 tower plus

7020, 7010, 7000 Optiplex tower psu are interchangeable
they use same chassis
motherboard bios for Intel 14,13,12th gen cpu respectively but it is actually just a stepwise bios upgrade on essentially same motherboard, which is usually Dell “new” model scheme “update bios, name it a new model.”

That is a different question and problem.
The OptiPlex 7020 Tower Plus Parts & Upgrades site does not show any PSU.
Dell spare parts cannot sell them because the parts page does not allow it =

compatible with the following systems:
@DELL-Chris M I believe these 7020 tower plus psu DP/N also apply to 7010 tower plus. Is that correct? both models offer 260 and 500w psu.
