Recent Dell Tech Support

IT that has been in the business for over 30 years. I have, for about 15 years been a big supporter of Dell products, primarily because of the great tech support you used to provide. However, recently they that you have manning the phones and chat are getting on my last nerve. I used to always tell everyone to buy Dell because with Pro or Pro Plus support you were ensured to get your device repaired or replaced in a timely manner. Now you have people that are resisting/refusing to send the parts and/or techs that are required to repair the device, trying to tell us that our only option to get a motherboard replaced is to ship it in, when we have always relied on them coming here in a couple days and repairing it for us. 

I will no longer tell anyone to buy a Dell product because the support that I have been getting over the last six months, as well as my colleagues, has been extremely poor!

Dell start putting the support back in place that you were known for! Stop resisting repairs, stop trying to push us to send our products in, send the parts to a local tech and get the devices repaired. If we can't get it repaired by the Tech, then we can talk about maybe sending it in, if the local tech can't work it out!  Again, stop the before you keep losing customers!
