PSU swap for a 7050 tower

no that psu would not fit.  Dell oem psu are proprietary thin form factor.  you can use a Dell oem 500w psu in 7050 MT

but it shows that its compadable with OptiPlex 7080 Micro,

OptiPlex 7080 Tower, OptiPlex 7080 XE Micro and XPS 8940,

not 7050 tower, also is there power coneecters for gpus on that psu?

and how many sata power cables?

you can not take vendor description to the bank.

physically this psu would not fit the case, which I presume was your original question.

electrically via a 24 to 6 pin adapter it can power on 7050 tower, but psu has to sit outside case.

500w Dell Y7R0X oem psu or SFX psu (4.9" wide).

7050 case is 6.1" wide.

I would ask seller to ship Y7R0X only

the other DP/N has had mixed user report.

In general I avoid seller who ships random part number. I ask for actual pic of actual item they ship n if received not ask for free  return refund
