Problems with a new Dell PC & Dual Monitors
So in our office we have a new, 1 month old Dell Optiplex PC and 2 s272shs monitors (straight out of the box from Dell), when connecting them up, hdmi dp cable to monitor 1 and hdmi to hdmi for monitor 2 (using the brand new cables supplied by Dell) only monitor 1 works, monitor 2 notes "No HDMI cable".
There is only 1 way the cables can connect to the monitors so should be straight forward but alas no, i've changed over both sets of cables & updated / rolled back the graphics drivers but still cant get monitor 2 work?
Any ideas would be grateful.

s272sh is not a Dell monitor model? You need to check the monitor boxes for our users and get the model number.
What specific Optiplex model?
Post a picture of its rear ports.

Chris, Optiplex model is SFF Plus 7020, both monitors are Dell, the main is a P2725H and a secondary is a S2725HS.
There are 3 DP ports and no hdmi's so i connected to either of the 3 to main monitor and then a separate hdmi lead from the main monitor to the secondary monitor
