Optiplex 960 DVD-ROM Drive has failed

Don't laugh: I needed a desktop with a genuine Centronics parallel port to control my CNC mill.  It was not expensive and it runs Linux like a bat out of hell.  The built-in full-height DVD-ROM drive fails diagnostics with Spindle Error.  I am trying to find a replacement drive.  Lots of eBay sellers have drives used and new that supposedly work in the 960.  The first one I bought has different power and data connectors.  Can anyone tell me the connectors that this drive uses?  Even better, tell me where to find a DVD-ROM drive that fits these cables and bay.

assuming 960 is MT/minitower or DT (desktop) but not SFF since you mentioned full height dvd which actually is called half height/HH, you need a sata half height DVD-ROM or DVD-RW.  In SFF the DVD is slim.
