OptiPlex 5490 AIO not booting / no video output after enabling Intel TXT / TrustExecution in BIOS
Hi, we have enabled Intel's Trusted Execution Technology (TXT) for all Dell OptiPlex via Dell Command PowerShell Provider. Enabling this features allows usage of stuff like Defender Firmware protection. This went fine for all our OptiPlex systems, except for the model 5490. According to Intel the i5-10500T Processor supports this.
After enabling this BIOS feature, the model 5490 is not turning on any more. No screen output at all (also tried external monitor). You are just hearing that the fan is running (system seems to be on somehow). Also, no Dell boot logo is visible. So, I was not able to go into BIOS menu the revert the setting. Removing the CMOS battery or pressing power button for longer than 20-30s, did not change thing.
Currently, the 5490 feels like a brick. Some ideas what we could do? Thanks!

After trying the reset via CMOS battery again, the 5490s are now back alive (see guide: How to Perform a BIOS or CMOS Reset and Clear the NVRAM on Dell Computers | Dell US)
They came back online with this warning screen where I've continued via "BIOS-Setup" to restore factory defaults:
Afterwards, I was able to boot into Windows again.
The interesting thing is that the setting "Intel's Trusted Execution Technology (TXT)" is not available in BIOS:
So, Dell Command PowerShell Provider allows reading and enabling "TrustExecution" while the BIOS cannot handle this (resp. does not feature this) what results in boot problems. From my point of view, this seems to be a bug in the BIOS (current version 1.36.0 installed).
Since the processor supports TXT it might be offered. If not possible, the BIOS should not accept enabling it via Dell Command.
