Optiplex 3000 Tower, PSU upgrade
I have dell OptiPlex 3000 tower it came with Intel Core i3 12100 and 180w PSU,I want to put GPU like RTX 3060 so bad but IDK my PSU can handle that should I upgrade PSU? And which one should I get?(I want like 500w PSU)

I doubt it -- not with a 3060 card. You can find 3050 cards that are self contained (don't need an 6 or 8 pin external power tap), but the 3060 cards all will.

I believe the last word is that due to the proprietary nature of the power supply, this system cannot take a standard power supply.

No, that GPU won't work at 180W. These are not standard power supplies -- the best you can do is this one

It's not clear whether this PS has a connector for an 8-pin GPU socket, which most graphics cards in the class you're seeking will require. You may have to step down to a card that doesn't need the direct GPU power.

best way to be sure is to ask @DELL-Chris M to confirm the list of Dell validated psu list for Optiplex 3000 tower.
