Hi! It depends on what 9020 model you have and what 6500 XT model you plan to buy. If you don't have a computer that looks exactly like this, then you can't install the 6500 XT.
If you do have the MT or Mini-Tower then you can put whatever graphics card you want, but it's not that simple as there may be a lot of steps to installing a graphics card:
If you put in a low profile / half height graphics card with no power connectors from the power supply, then it'll just go right in (RX 6400, RTX 3050 LP).
If it's a standard GPU, then you need to drill out the hard drive cage with a drill or dremel.
If it has ports on the top of the card then it needs power connectors from the power supply. The stock Dell 9020 Power supply doesn't come with power connectors like this, so you'll need to upgrade the power supply. (I'd get no less than a bronze rated PSU from a trusted brand or it has a very high likelihood of not working or being a fire hazard.) You'll also need a 8 pin to 24 pin power adapter for the motherboard for the PSU to work.
This may be a little bit complicated so the best move may just be installing a low profile card instead with no modifications, as they tend to be similar in performance. If you have any questions, just ask!
