GTX 1050 Ti with Optiplex 790DT?
Hello! Everyone i am thinking of upgrading my gpu and cpu and i found online many people uograded the gpu of their optiplex 790dt to GTX 1050 Ti LP but when i shared that with chatgpt that said that Installing 1050 Ti LP is risky on DT — might work, but not officially supported and may cause crashes or power issues over time.
About my pc:
OptiPlex 790 DT
System Type: x64-based PC
Q65 Express Chipset
Dell 0J3C2F
BIOS Mode: Legacy
BIOS ver: A05
320 GB hard drive HDD
Dell 250W PSU (H250AD-00)
i will add 16gb ddr3 ram and might change storage
i can easily buy GTX 1050 Ti LP so thas why i wanted to ask how is it possible to use that with my PC.i also found this chart online that i don't rlly understand, idk if i have APFC or EPA and what this means but i'll attach my psu image here too.
and i don't see any purpose of the cd player on this PC so i might remove it, should i? would that affect the pc?
other than GTX 1050 Ti LP i have 2 more gpu options: GeForce GT 1030 ddr5 and Radeon Pro WX 4100 but i wwant to prefer 1050ti also i saw 440x dell optiplex 790 with 1050ti on user benchmark website: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/Dell-OptiPlex-790/3864
