E145483/OptiPlex 3010 I/O cable Failure + Power Button Failure
Hello,
I have a E145483 board in a non-Dell case and I am struggling to find out how to mute I/O and power button failure alerts because I don't know what pins I am supposed to shortcut.
This is my first PC setup so I am not particularly familiar with what I am doing, but I have attempted to short all the front_pannel and LED pins but this doesn't seem to work. Here's what I have in regards to shorting pins right now, plus one for the power button at the top of the board. I taped over the jumper caps because they were too small and so have drawn lines to try and demonstrate how I configured them, I do believe they are making contact with the pins now but the alerts still persist.
I saw a post already for different OptiPlex tower shortings but I really understand how to translate it to my issue.

shorting may not do the job. easier to just get the Dell oem IO module to connect to header and leave it inside non-Dell case. pwr switch header is 5 pin for Optiplex 3010. you can buy off the shelf adapter for that.

@redxps630 okay, I can try that if it is not too expensive... but which oem IO module you mean? I haven't really figured out what I/O cables it even means in this case.

It is not an expensive part. you have Optiplex 3010 MT (1/4 of sata ports not soldered)
