Drive swap usb stopped working.
I had a old thinkcenter that died so I took out the SSD and put it into my Dell Optiplex 330 and I boots up but as soon as it starts loading windows logo the usb ports stop working so can not use mouse or keyboard. I can pull the drive and it will work in my laptops and other desktops no problem just not in the Dell. I can go into recover mode and the mouse works. I can also install a new OS on the Dell and every thing works like it should. I would like to use the SSD as it has a lot of programs and files that would take a long time to duplicate and have configured as I use it for media. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I can not use the mouse or keyboard just a reminder!!!!!

On a 10 year old system I would guess that the proper drivers are not installed for the USB ports. Not knowing how old the Thinkcenter was or which version of Windows was on the SSD it would be amazing if the drive worked. Usually moving a drive over in that situation causes all kinds of incompatibilities and possible blue screens.
