Dell optiplex 3070 upgrade CPU and heat sink

I have just bought a dell optiplex 3070 micro with a 9th gen i5 9500T 35w processor,

I want to upgrade the CPU to a 65W I9900

and want to known what model heatsink to use from another MFF one with a full copper heat sink

to improve heat dissipation and keep thermals down

look at your current cpu fan.  If it says 5V, you can not upgrade to 12V fan.

I think the 5V goes up to 11 CFM and 12V up to 14 CFM.

Re: want to known what model heatsink to use from another MFF one with a full copper heat sink

you may swap out the heatsink only but keep the original fan.

CRD,PLN,MFF,TRPM,3070,OPTI,FN.

the MFF motherboard for 35W vs 65W cooler may have different DP/N designed with different cpu fan header for 5V vs 12V fans.  what is your motherboard DP/N?  the 65W cooler may require a 12V fan header.  you want to make sure your motherboard can support it before proceeding.
