Which host is in a warning state?
For the second time now, my OMIVV 5.1 dashboard shows a host in a warning state but it does not indicate which host. I have looked in the logs and checked all my hosts in vCenter and have found no errors or warnings. My only option seems to be to login to each iDRAC individually until I find it and that is tedious. If OMIVV knows there is a host in a warning or error state, why can't it list the host name somewhere, or at least flag the host in OMIVV so it shows when I click on "View Host"? That would make the dashboard much more helpful.

Hi mikejroberts,
Currently OMIVV provide couple of way to identify the un-healthy host.
OMIVV will post SNMP traps from iDRAC to vCenter Event console, please have a look at vCenter Events and check if you see any Dell alerts posted for any host.
Health widget for each host is part host ‘Summary’ page. Here the overall live health status of many hardware component of host is displayed along with an option to launch iDRAC to debug further.
Yes, you need visit summary page of each host to identify the un-healthy host, the one view for health status all the hosts is part of OMIVV roadmap, should be part of near future OMIVV release.

Hi mikejroberts,
OMIVV 5.2 has introduced one view for health status of all the hosts or chassis. The view can be filtered based on the health status.
A link is provided at dashboard Health widget to navigate to the page where all hosts are listed along with its health status. Health status updated every one hour.
To view live health, visit Health widget for each host which is part host ‘Summary’ page
Please upgrade to OMIVV 5.2 (if already haven’t), and have a look into the one view health status of all the hosts or chassis.
