Failed to connect to the OMIVV appliance. The SSL Certificate is not valid. v5.2

I've checked your link and I think that the problem lies with the root certificate. But, I'm unable to apply that proposed solution, since my setup is different. They refer to a problem that was on vCenter 6 and got fixed in vCenter update 1.

In my situation, the issue started after upgrading my vCenter from 7 to 7U1.

If it helps, I see this messages on the vCenter logs, while I tried to re-register the OMIVV with vCenter....

Have you already contacted the guys on the hotline, as mentioned in my post before? In such a situation it makes sense to dive deeper by pulling logs and so on.

On the community, it's hard to get this kind of view.

Hello cnikolopoulos/VCDX181,
           Recent minor release of OMIVV (5.2.1) addresses similar issue. Can you consider upgrade OMIVV to  5.2.1 and check if it fixes this issue.
 OMIVV 5.2.1 is released on 01/15/2020 and it is RPM upgrade only release. Release note link.
