Dell OpenManage Plugin not working in vSphere Client or Web Client
Hi All
I am trying to get the Dell Openmanage for VMware working at a site and I am currently experiencing the following:
After adding a vCenter instances and the Dell OpenManage plugin creates several alarms, there is no Dell Management Center icon under Home > Management
If i select Plug-in Manager i see OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter in a disabled state and the following error "the following error occurred while downloading the script plugin from https://___vCentername__ /plugin/2-3d571ed-8c11-4817-9a1e-f62ccfeed4ac.-xml The request failed because the remote server took to long to respond. (The operation has timed out)
I have tried deploying the appliance several times with the same result
Anyone experienced this and have a fix ?

I am getting this issue also with appliance v3, checked my Appliance version and noticed it was not compatible as we are running vCenter 3721164.
Tried the 3.1 appliance, same issue.

I've resolved my issue by cleaning up DNS entries that were initially created by the appliance and then restarting the appliance and unregister/re-register.

Hello,
What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? What software versions do you have installed?
Like Shaunchristides had mentioned in his post, restarting and re-registering the appliance is a fix I've seen work in several instances.
