Dell OMIVV 5.4.0.2571 Cannot Manage Dell R650
I am currently running Dell OMIVV 5.4.0.2571
I have some hosts that can successfully be managed by the OMIVV and some that cannot
I have also run the various checks to make sure the OMIVV appliance can login to the idrac of the r650
I have looked at the logs of the appliance and keep getting the errors below
An unknown exception has occurred and has been logged in the extended logs
This is logged multiple times
I have tried rebooting the appliance and re-inventorying the hypervisor but to no avail
Also I have enough licenses for the hosts
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello seamusobr,
Is there any difference in the R650's that you can manage and those you cannot? iDRAC, BIOS firmware the same?
Is there any more information in the log where you get: An unknown exception has occurred and has been logged in the extended logs?
Have you cleared browser cache or tried another browser?
If your unable to manage some I would first check if the required ports are open.

OMIVV has a readonly CLI interface. On Vcenter, you would need go to the OMIVV VM. At the log on prompt, instead of "admin" you would need to log in as "readonly". The password is the one that was setup when initially deploying OMIVV.
There you can do a ping test, nslookup, and view some basic information. Since it is readonly, there are some limitations
