VHD file question

I am starting to run out of room on my c drive and in looking I have a folder that is called "Dell" on there that is about 9gigs big.  In looking at it there is a VHD file that is the bulk of that size that is in a subfolder called VHD.  Can I move this without causing any issues?  The file has not been modified since 2011.  DO I need it at all?  Thanks
