T620 "The TCM battery has failed"

About every hour our so, the OpenMnage Server Administrator reports in the the Hardware Log a "The TCM battery has failed." message and then within about a minute reports a "The TCM battery is operating normally" message.   I am familiar with the System Battery and the RAID Controller battery but now the TCM battery.  What is the TCM Battery?

Hello

I am unable to locate information on the error you are receiving. The only TCM I'm aware of is the Trusted Cryptography Module. It is the version of the TPM that we install for systems sold in Russia and China. It does not have its own battery. It uses the CMOS battery. I suggest locating the event ID for the error and locate that ID in the message reference guide for OMSA:

Thanks

Getting exactly the same message on a T620 at a customer in USA on a US spec'd and purchased server.  started about 3 days ago.  Really annoying and fills up the hardware log but quick.  Maybe Julian Assange can shed some light on this Russian problem? LOL!

So is it the RAID controller battery or the BIOS battery?
