PowerEdge T620 upgrading

I have a poweredge T620 that has two 16GB, 1600, 2Rx4, 4G, DDR3L , R sticks in it according to the specs sheet. I am looking to at least double the memory. Will any memory that meeds those specs work? Is it ECC or non-ECC?

I am also looking to upgrade the processors. This unit came with two Intel Xeon E502637 3.00GHz processors. I am going to probably replace them with two 8-core E5-2660's @ 2.2GHz. Does anyone know if the cooling and the motherboard will support this?

Thanks for the response. I was unable to locate the Dell P/N on the memory. It may have been swapped by the previous owner. These appear to be Samsung modules. That part or serial number is m393B2G70DB0-YK0. I believe they are Non-ECC. There are two sticks. It looks like there are four banks of memory, each with several slots. There is one memory stick in bank-A slot-1 and one stick in Bank-B slot-1. If I add memory, where should it be installed? Bank-a, b, c, or d?

The heatsink part number matches the one you mentioned so hopefully that will do the trick.

I see where I  typo'd the CPU up there. Good to know the heatsink should handle it.

Thanks. Do you know if they made different heatsinks for this server or did they design it with the idea that the one heatsink should handle any of the processors that they listed in their compatibility list?

Thanks again. You are a wealth of knowledge. If you had to choose between the E5-2680 (8 core / 2.7Ghz) and the E5-2660 V2 (10 core/ 2.2Ghz) which would you choose?

Ok, so I upgraded the memory successfully. I also replaced the CPU's with e5-2680's and they seem happy. The server is complaining about the PSU's being insufficent, but it still boots. Do you know what the part number is for the power supplies that would handle the additional load of the new CPU's or is it ok to just let it continue the way it is?

It looks like our HDD space is a little smaller than we want as well. What kind of drive compatibility should I expect? I'll probably be swapping out the 600Gb SAS drives, of which there are 4. I might then put two of them in place of the two 148Gb or what ever size they are.

Right now they're 475 Watt PSU's, I believe. I found the part number for 750 Watt PSU's so hopefully that will do the trick. I think I will order two 600 GB drives and replace the 148's with them. Thanks.
