PowerEdge R620 Idrac IP address
I have changed the IDRAC IP address to one of our Dell PowerEdge R620 servers. I can see the correct Idrac IP address via the lcd front panel. However, when I try getting to the new IDRAC IP via URL or try pinging it I can't resolve the new IP address.
I have restarted the server a couple of times, changed ethernet cables, connected the ethernet cable in a different port at the switch, the switch port and the Server IDrac port show light when the cable is connected and still no luck.
I recently changed the IDRAC IP to about 80 other Dell servers without a problem.

Hello
If it was working before the IP changed then it is unlikely the issue is faulty hardware. It is most likely a configuration issue with either the iDRAC or the networking device it is attached. Troubleshooting the issue would involve reviewing the configuration:
www.dell.com/support/home/product-support/product/idrac7-8-with-lc-v2.20.20.20/manuals
I would also test with another IP address to rule out an IP conflict. Another device may already be assigned the IP. That device may not respond to ICMP requests or have a web server. I would also check the license status. If you are using the dedicated port then make sure it is configured to use dedicated and has an enterprise license.
Thanks
