PowerEdge R410 won't allow me to add replaced drive to raid 5

Had a drive fail in this raid 5 configuration and when we replace the failed drive we can't seem to get it to rejoin the raid.  The drive shows in open manage as ready but did not start rebuilding to the raid and we can't figure out how to tell it to. Only gives options, "Clear" and "Assign Global Hot Spare".
