PowerEdge R410 with PERC 6/I Adapter, Can I replace a standard SAS with a SED Drive?

Hello, I had a drive fail on our server (RAID 5, 4 Drives). I pulled out the old drive (900GB Savvio 10K.5, model ST9900805SS) and ordered a new one based on the Dell P/N written on the drive (9TH066-150). I received a new drive and the P/N on the box says 9TH066-150 but the drive sticker shows it as a 900GB Savvio 10K.6SED, model ST900MM0036, with P/N 1C9066-251 on the drive. Will this drive work in the server in the array with the other drives, or was I sent the wrong part?

Hello

Dell P/N written on the drive (9TH066-150)

Those are not Dell part numbers. Those are Seagate part numbers.

The drives should work in the same array. You should be able to use either drive to replace the other.

Thanks
