PowerEdge R210 II "Possible system resource configuration error"
Hi. I have a Dell PowerEdge R210 II. I have an error message indicated by the LED status light on the front of the machine. The numbers "1" and "2" are highlighted indicating a "Possible system resource configuration error" according to the Dell manual. I have reseated RAM, riser, and PCI card and checked cable connections. Can you provide more information about the error message and what could be causing the issue? Thanks

I'll add there are currently no error messages in iDRAC controller event log. Thanks for the help!

I ran the Dell system diagnostics via the Lifecycle Controller. I get an error "Error Code 4500:0119 Serial port operating outside allowable speed tolerances." Is this related to the power supply or maybe the motherboard? Can you provide more information about the error? Thanks

I removed the PCI card (Perc H200) and the lights went away, but now have the issues with the serial port voltage recurring.

Hi,
How many memory sticks are in the system? I would bring it down to a single stick, take out the PCI card, disconnect all external devices including mice, keyboard and monitor and see if the lights are any different.

Thanks, Josh. So you recommend replacing the motherboard, correct?

Thanks, Josh. That's interesting. So you recommend replacing the motherboard, not the PCIe card, correct? Thanks

It may be a system board issue if the error changes after removing the card.

It is the most likely part, but since it is older hardware it may be cheaper to replace the whole system.
